🏆 National Skill Fest – First Runner Up
Mr. Anurag, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning CITS trainee, won the first prize for the National Skill India Competition, Kerala 2019 held at Kozhikode.
🌞 NSTI Calicut – The Pioneer Trainers of Solar Technology
NSTI Calicut is the first training Institute to provide the CTS (ITI) in Solar Technician trade in India. NSTI Calicut conducted training program in “Roof top Solar Grid Engineer”, sponsored by National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) under MNRE. NSTI has joined hands with Agency for Non-conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT), a Kerala Govt. Agency responsible for promoting Renewable Energy.
Shri. MP Rajan, Instructor in Solar Technician trade, was awarded “Kousalacharya” award in 2019 by Hon. Minister, MSDE. In the same year NSTI Calicut bagged award and cash price of ₹1 lakh from Govt of Kerala. Shri. Ramasubramanian, ISDS, Joint Director/HOO, NSTI Calicut, played major role in designing the CTS Solar Technician (Electrical) trade. Today NSTI Calicut is the training hub in Solar PV technology in South India.
🤖 Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant
The Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), in collaboration with Microsoft, presents a pioneering AI course tailored for vocational education students. Programme is implemented in association with M/s Edunet Foundation.
